Did Bradley Wiggins deserve his sportsman of the year accolade, i think so but then i do cycle several miles a day (albeit on an exercise bike) and i thimk the tour de France is the most gruelling thing to win.  Who do you think should have won it?

Next time your on an exercise bike, select the watt's settings instead of the calories used. An average Tour rider will use 240 watts for around 4 hours !! Try to keep above 200 watts for 30 minutes to give you an idea on what they have to do for three weeks !

When they do the time trials that will rise to over 300 watts

100 watts for 10 minutes is enough to get the sweat dripping off me, its like cycling up everest for a very long 10 minutes lol. just shows how fit the likes of Bradley Wiggins and Chris Broome must be.

I thought Jessica Ennis' gold medal was a good one, and funnily enough, i always remember the clay pigeon shooting gold medal, i thought that was excellent.

Isn't it called sports PERSONALITY of the year. That obviously comes into it as there were loads of people who did excellently this year but didn't make the final cut. Saying that the 3rd place went to somebody who comes across as having very little personality
