Yet another 2,000 + gate for the lads. I thought that we might have reached 2,200 with recent performances. However todays effort was a very scrappy win against a team who will probably be challenging for a top 6 position.

Has Mr Lester left the changing rooms yet  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i think we wil get 1300 for the bramley game

then 4000-5000 for catalans

didnt see how he nocked it on i was clapping as it looked like a certain try and turned to my mate to say something and when i looked back the ref said nock on it looked like he might have tried to do a forward roll or something when he got under the posts ???

i said to my mates before the match we would get 2000 decent turn out as dewsbury have just been promoted so people probably thought they wouldnt do much but they played well we wil need to improve next week

But when he dropped the ball he had turned around and was facing the railwayend so technically the ball went back and a try should have been awarded  IMO.

A dropped ball and a cracked head, its been a bad day for Lester. He lost control of the ball before he was facing the railway end

The try was dissalowed because in the opinion of the linesman Lester did not have controll of the ball.

The same linesman who disallowed Dewsbury's try in the first half. Very dubious decision.

Dewsburys try that was disallowed in the 1st half as dewsbury knocked on and the linesman saw it and tried to get attention of the ref but the ref didnt hear him and played on so when dewsbury scored and that linesman didnt run over he went to see what was up and play was brought back to the knock on in my opinion not very dubious but the right decision.

It only seemed dubious because it took the ref that long to look at the touch judge, if he'd checked when the incident occured then nobody would bother about it. Anyhow I thought it was the other touch judge that gave the decision about Lester. Do they swap over at half time?? It was the one from the popular side on both occasions, and one in each half so I presume it was different TJ's.

yeah they do swap over. the ref didnt see the incident so he never looked over at his TJ to see and was only told by that TJ when the try was scored.
