Anyone like union as well? I like it, went all over the spot watching my brother play for the county when I was a kid.

Can see England doing well. Maybe finishing 2nd. Smashing the sweatys on Saturday will do for a start.

Domestically RU is boring, but on the international stage it is one of the best sports in the world.

I might have had a passing interest at the most, if it had not been for Super League starting tonight and now i can't see beyond that.
Rugby League is a lot quicker, and a lot more exciting and i don't want to get my rules and codes mixed up!
Give me the Northern Rules any day, we are more professional, and i'm even willing to put my reputation on the line, and watch the old rivals, Leeds tonight ( theres still a chance they could get beat, so come on Hull).  While it's not ideal, Leeds will have to do until i can get over to the Halliwell Jones on Sunday.

A league game at tickenham sells out, so I cant be that bad as its attendances make RL look like a pub sport.

Hold on a minute, Rockerlad, the last game i attended was at Old Trafford in October, and we brought 71,000, not bad for a 'pub sport'.
I didn't go to Wembley, but it wouldn't surprise me if that didn't attract an even bigger crowd.
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

That was the grand final mate. The RU game was a average league game. I don't mind RL, but when it comes to popularity RU wins hands down. Some people like it some people don't, like most sports.

Even for a league game, the Halliwell jones always gets 14,000 a match, and is limited by it's capacity, a bigger stadium would bring a bigger crowd.
14,000 is better than any RU league match, easily, and better than some championship football matches too.
Only the other day, it was claimed that RL is the second most watched sport on sky, the fact that i'm willing to watch Leeds, a team i can't stand, to get my fix says it all really.

Go on Wikipedia Rockerlad, and look up the Halliwell Jones, you will see that it's capacity is due to expand to 18,000 soon, and this will make us the biggest non football stadium in Rugby League.
My point is that they wouldn't go to all that effort, and spend all that money, if people didn't want to see the game.

11430 was warringtons average attendance last season with the capacity being 15000. You can have had that many 14000 attendances :0)

Considerably higher the RL. :0)

As said above i prefer RL domestically. But RU internationally is brilliant.
