If we don't get crowds up, I can see us being in a similar position.

No home game until June. We are not much better on that front which is why an offer for the barrow game on presold tickets would bring cash in earlier

I am sure that the RFL's blueprint for the future structure of RL will have been formulated to help struggling Championship clubs .......  :mess:

First of all like bradford if they went into admin but played remaining fixtures then no points would be lost by clubs who have beat them

second this is where the fixture planners have a lot to answer, through no fault of town or barrow one team finds themselves with no home games for a month while the other has 4 home games

Its stupid to have the CC followed by The NRC the following week.If you get knocked out of the CC or get an away tie then get an away tie in the NRC you go at least 3 weeks without a home game like us,But then in barrows case to give them away games either side of these cup games then this is stupid and this could always happen. It happened to us a few years back
The planners need to think of clubs cash flow when planning where to play cup rounds in the fixtures

cant imagine we will be any better off donny at home 28th april then no home game to 26th may
While up the road(not having a ago before you all start) they have 2 home games either side of these cup fixtures and then with the luck of the draw get drawn at home in NRC and CC

The rfl really need a good kick and they should be helping clubs in these positions as they created it

You are correct. Why don't barrow ask to switch a fixture. A bit like town were going to do with fax at the start of the season. Or see If the RFL will give them an advance.

Years ago Bill fallowfield and a small staff arranged the fixtures nearly alwways on a week at home week away basis, cup runs being the unfathomable factor, of course though he didn't have super computers, loads of back room staff, e mails, texts, marketing departments etc etc etc how on earth do they get things so bloody wrong?

I am bothered I was just saying a fact. All 3 Cumbrian teams need each other, their biggest crowds of the season are when they play each other.
