PINOCCHIO,   I noticed you said you had been the cricket yesterday, and I am assuming the Ashes.
Dunno if you know but they are having a legends day at Grappenhall Cricket club in Warrington, there are two t20 matches and it is part of Ben Westwoods testimonial year.
The first game is between Grappenhall and Warrington Wolves, I am sure you know Grappenhall play in the Chesire county league, so no prizes for guessing who is going to win that one.
And the second match is between the England and Australia legends, as part of the Ashes summer, England will have Andy Flintoff, Mark Ramprakash, Neil Fairbrother, Dominic Cork, Phil Defraitus, Devon Malcolm, Andy Caddick and Adam Hollioke.    Australia will be fielding the likes of Simon Katich, Jason Gillespie, David Hussey, Ian Harvey and will be supplemented by Pakistani legend Wasim Akram.
If your interested ity's on the 30th July at Grappenhall, and all the money raised will go to charity. Might see you there, Doreen and Myself are buying our tickets on Wednesday, when the Challenge Cup Semi final tickets go on general sale.  Were off to Huddersfield for that one.

What about everybody post two things that they feel would IMPROVE our game. just two and no repeats?

1. get rid of eddie and stevo
2. send all aussies and kiwis back and play our own in super league only chance we will have of beating them.

Re-instate P & R, fund the second tier properly so clubs can compete when promoted.

Re-instate "A"  teams, there needs to be a route for juniors & amateurs to enter the professional game.

These will improve the overall standard of competition at all levels including SL, the constant focus on SL 1st teams with no foundations in lower leagues and competitions has been a total disaster ..........
