Hi peeps,

Is it true that Whitehaven is to get a German style Christmas market ? What a great idea if it comes off !.

Sounds good. Just dont let the council know about it, they'll have half of it closed in no time at all!!

Wonder if they will again open the toilets for all the visitors - oh and of course their electorate for a few days.

We've had these continental markets in the past. Great if you've money to burn as there often very expensive

Workington town centre as a winter wonderland, my god even jk Rowling or JR Toilken would struggle with that thought. It's nearly as funny as the tourist destination of Whitehaven.

Wouldn't surprise me, but what would be shocking [as usual] is that they were not offered for sale publicly as opposed to a secret deal with some third party. All council owned [ie our property] should be put in the paper when it's up for sale.
