That result means that the USA have won group D, well done to our guests down here in Runcorn, but lets hope they don't let up, and beat Scotland in there final inter group game.
I'd like these Americans to go home with some good memories of the World Cup, and of Runcorn and Widnes.
They are our guests, and Halton Borough Council pulled out all the stops to make them feel welcome, they in their turn, excelled all expectations by winning their group,so lets hope the fairy tale doesn't end here, and lets give them a fighting chance against those big mouths from Australia, GO, GO THE USA.

10,500 at Leigh last night.
Looks like the Scotland v USA game is now crucial, Tonga need the USA to win that game, but as you say Shaun, will the USA be resting some of their players against a determined Scotland side? Should be another cracker.
