He doesn't need a visa, born in America but emigrated to UK when he was a kid and was brought up in Warrington, played for Crosfields amateurs. The RFL don't class him as an overseas player either.

It seems likely that the NCL will allow teams 3 DR players this season,could be a good chance to sign some good local youngsters and have them play for their amateur clubs in a good quality league whilst training with haven.Seems like a win win situation IF there are funds available.

It depends if the agreements lose said amateurs their precious amateur status.

From what i've read they can only play for the team they signed from,but there are some talented youngsters playing for Brow/kells/egremont

Fair point but it is one less obstacle with regards to getting young signings games,in the end it all comes down to what the club can offer

Just don't get to excited until we actually see him as this was the same guy who said we had signed a Tongan so I'm not getting to excited yet but I do hope he's correct
