One up one down each division is sooooo easy agree they have gone out of their way to complicate things but that is a very modern way of doing things - comes from far too many 'consultants' introduced to governemt in the Blair/Brown years. If you do not make something very complicated how can you justify your fat fee?

As for Cummings petulant outburst, that sums up the state of our game.  We are almost at a point where people can't remember life pre Big League later Super League.  Rugby League must revert to a simpler format that like football applies, promotion and relegation across all divisions.  The powers that be must recognise the nonsense of self preservation cannot continue.

Apparently the clubs who rebelled against the proposals did so in protest over the planned increase in Sky TV money to Championship clubs.

Dear S.DeMont, yes very sad that a 'sport' which had the respect, once, not too long ago of the whole sporting establishment in this country - even the old RU gave grudging admiration, we now find ourselves run by a clique of the top SL clubs supremos who are sadly no longer what one could refer to as 'sporting gentlemen' [clubs have always had an element of self interest] but now these guys are just sneeking, conniving, greedy, egostistical, uncaring Ba...... and I don't like swearing. By the way where is everyone is there a match on?
