agree but look at the difficult start we have leigh fax and dewsbury all team who have great squads, after fax we hit a run of fixtures that with exception of batley away all the rest should be
wins if we want to stay up.
I think 25 points in minimum to stay up this season as i cant see any of the bottom 7 or 8 teams getting away from the others down there

We need to turn the Rec into a fortress again.

We'd also benefit from some dry weather to harden the pitch up a bit. The RFL's experiment have a big pack so the conditions will probably suit them on Sunday.

I can remember last time they were here, for a full 80 mins all they sang was cru cru crusaders, annoying and intimidating for opposing team and fans

I think we are in for a really tough game they have spent a lot of money and put a very good side together but it's one we should be expecting to win.

we have a very tough start compared to other teams who will be outside the top 5,some  play most of the teams you would expect to be around them in the league. If we have 6 points after 5 games we will have done well
3 of the first 4 away from home :(
2 homes games in first 5 to fax and crusaders who will be the best of the rest :(
game 6 onwards is where we make up for the tough games at the start and hit a patch of fixtures where we play a lot of teams that will be around us and most of them at home

this patch of fixtures will be key to our season

The problem there though Alan, is by the time these easier fixtures come around we may have lost quite a few and therefore confidence could well be low so making them harder matches than they could be.
3 of first 4 away from home, also 3 of last 4 are away from home also!

Need to ensure the games in between are won and not thrown away!

Im not as confident BKM and I am usually an eternal optimist.
Too many things wrong at the moment.
Ill go for 10 pts by end of May on current performance.

we have had a bad start but its no good saying who we have played all the time,
im sure rochdale were thinking they would have it tough at home yesterday against Batley.....they won,
im sure donny fans thought they would have a tough game against Fev....they won
im sure keighley thought they would struggle away to town.....they clawed back an 18 point deficit....and won
we cant keep thinking we are getting beat by top sides and we will come good cos the teams we are gonna be competing at bottom 5 are picking good points up at home.....something we havent done yet...we wont be comfortable come the end of this season and this coaching staff and players need to get some pride and passion in the shirts  :grrr: :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:
