Do the traveling contingent come up twice a week for training?

Woods has done a good job so far. We got out of ch 1 and avoided relegation last season by some distance.

What he has to do now is pick the team up and get the best out of the 17 he picks for next week. If they aren't performing then it's his job to drop them and give someone else a chance. On paper we have a good side but games aren't won on paper. Team needs to show more consistency as well. There more like a Jekyll and Hyde team. On their day can be very good but when there bad you wouldn't have them playing in your back garden.

One wonders if some players relied on winning pay to live would we see more effort on the field, lets face it to some of them with very well paid jobs playing just earns them pin money, pride in the jersey doesn't seem to count anymore. Mr Woods  can only do so much to motivate players but once they are on the field its up to them to motivate each other, how often have you heard players shouting encouragement to each other?
Next week will be the crucial time for many fans, a lackluster performance will be the final straw.
As we all know player power is a powerful weapon is deciding the fate of coaches, cast your mind back to Paul Cullens situation at Warrington.
All we can do is to turn up on Sunday give plenty of vocal  support and hope like hell for a win

Only listened to the game for a few minutes a couple of times today, both times Cox was very critical of Mitchel, basically he should have passed the ball ...... anyone at the game care to comment ?

been saying this so far this season ,look at highlights of dews game, burns 2 trys came from missing out mitchell, one carr came into the line to feed burns, the other a cut out pass to jjp who drew 2 in and passed.Mitchell is a good player his try last week showed that, but he needs to passing and not let the ball die with him
THE MULLET IS BACK

Oh definitely not Charlton for a Haven coach.

Why not ? One thing this club needs to do, and quickly, is build bridges and relationships with the amateur clubs. Charlo is somebody who will do that. He might not be the best technical coach around but he's someone who will put this club back in touch with its grassroots.

Can't blame the coach last week proved coach is doing right things. we were 16-0 up and cruising, sorry this one is down to the players and attitude simple as that.

thought they had it won at 16.0 and stopped playing was awful after that. we have no leader on the field simple not good enough the fans deserve better.

No one is answering the question...'What motivated them to a great victory and team performance at Dewsbury last week ?'

It's odds on something did......come on someone, think it through for me ! Seems the same thing wasn't there to motivate them this week however.

Three away games on the trot is gruelling enough for anyone, I'm not even sure St Helens would win all three similar SL away games.
Haven have had the worst start of them all, understand their difficulties and get behind the team and the manager, give them a chance!

It will even itself out over the full season, there will be a time when there is nothing but home games and that's when they will turn the corner, especially if they are buoyed up with plenty of solid home support.

:-[ :-[ :-[  You pair will be making me cry in a minute, and I'm meant to be a big toughie  :D

Seriously though, I believe passionately in the power of the fans, buy a drum, make up some chants, wave the flags and make the place a fortress!

It does no good to sit there and moan, so get behind the team, let them know they have your full support and 'Operation: wipe the stupid smile off the jampots faces' can become a real community venture.

Sounds like no leadership on the field again.

How did Taylor play at 6?
