I've never really been a fan of tennis but I thought this was really sad news today, Elena Baltacha, who represented Great Britain has died of Liver cancer at the age of just 30.
She was diagnosed with a chronic liver disease at the age of 19, and despite this problem she still went on to make the top fifty women tennis players in the World, and made the last 32 in a grand slam on three different occasions, she was a beautiful young woman who knew the value of hard work and never let her liver disease bring her down, R.I.P Elena Baltacha.
