it cost about ?150 to submit a planning application with the council, it takes about 8/10 weeks for it be considered and past, once granted you have 5 years to carry out the work....with this in mind why hasn't the club submitted one for the new stand...even if work starting is some while off this would save 8/10 weeks further down the line.....

if the answer is because they don't have a final desgin or layout for the stand yet...then we can kiss goodbye to it being ready for june/ july next year

Too right - I would say you're being optimistic about the 8/10 weeks as well - the way the Council planners parp about it's usually measured in months - they'll have a meeting then decide to do a site visit the following month then decide not to decide till the following month ! And as for Westlakes Renaissance if you look at their director profiles they all live in Allerdale which explains a lot !

Think you will find it cost a lot more than that.
