Kells went down to their first defeat in the league this season by 11 to 10. If they had taken a shot at a penalty in the last minute of the first half the it might have been a win by one point. Elland were a much large unit overall at about 5 kilos a man I would have said and as they say "a good big un beats a good little un". Never mind an enjoyable game all round.

not a bad effort from kells considering they had players missing on tour and work.

Egremont and Brow both won, apparently Egremont had a few players missing with tours and Brow had 6 first team players missing with injury's tours and other commitments, that's a good win for them especially away in Hull.

Our local amateur teams seem to be doing very well, it will be a great season if and when Kells Egremont and the Brow are in the premiere division together, there will be some great local derby's and I bet some big big crowds in attendance.
