Yep your right there mr XP, god knows what score you will put past us at Weldon road. Can you send us Brad Davies tel number to our coach. For some strange reason we can't cope with ex super league stand off's in there mid to late 30's. Yet again our stand off was played off the park

Monte

can you name all the other occasions rudd has been played off the park this season please monte?

Carl Rudd has been probably our best player so far this season, to say he was outplayed by Holroyd is wrong because however good Holroyd played has absolutely nothing to do with how good Carl Rudd plays. Rudd did pick up an injury which was the reason why he didn't kick goals after the first one.

Rudd  been  1  of  our  top  performers  this  season.

It  appears  he  took  an  injury  early  on  which  probably  explains  why  Holroyd  had  the  edge.  On  his  day  it  would  have  been  the  other  way  round.

He doesn't have to stand up to them. I'm sure Rudd will play his own game and McGoldrick and Moran will play there own game. How good a stand off on one side plays has absolutely nothing to do with how good a stand off plays on the other side.

Never  mind  Mcgoldrick  and  Moran.....................he's  got  Stacey  Jones  this  weekend.  Apparently  he  was  superb  for  Cats.

If  we  have  any  slight  chance  of  winning  then  we  have  to  stop  this  chap

It's not just Duffy's job to stop Jones at all it's the teams. How is Duffy meant to stop Stacey Jones when he will be standing outwide in defence. Half Backs do not stop other Half Backs they quite simply play there own game.

How many times will they come up against each other in the game though? Duffy will be defending in the centres like he usual does. Jones will no doubt be trying to dictate play and the other way round when we attack.

If you mean Duffy needs to have a better game than Jones does then ok, but it's not just his job to stop Jones it's whoever he comes across at that time which more often than not will not be John Duffy.

Thing  is  Stacy  Jones  for  Cats  is  the  equivalent  of  Holroyd  is  for  Donny.  Both  control  their  respective  teams.  Holroyd  was  given  far  too  much  time  to  put  in  kicks, passes etc  and  look  what  he  did  to  us.  If  we  give  Jones  the  same  time  then  he'll  murder  us.  It  doesn't  matter  who  marks  who.  As  soon  as  he  gets  the  ball  he  needs  nailed  by  whoever  is  close  by.

Rudd caught one across the face from the 3rd man in a tackle!

Hopefully the defeat against Donny will be the kick up the @rse we needed and we can move on with a point to prove against the froggies this weekend
If it's a girl they're naming her Sigourney after an actress, if it's a boy the 're naming him Rodney after Dave
