CR is your reference to outcome(s) an indication that more than Aiye and Parker are coming from over seas.

Six weeks to go so hopefully some developments very soon.

No, I have no information. My reference was merely please leave things to those who I have no doubt are working tirelessly behind the scenes with the best interests of Whitehaven RLFC at heart.

It's all about the £££. Why do you think they got so many visa applications through in record time?

LOL... so you think it's simple to get a visa to the UK if you grease a few palms.... It's not that simple and it's not all about the £££

I bet you didn't know the office that deals with UK Visa applications (VFS-Gloabal) in PNG is only open about 15 days per year? And they don't actually make the decision, they only handle the application, and pass it on to the Government department that issues them.

I never said anything about greasing palms I was merely implying that now Gateshead are awash with cash again that they have probably employed someone who specialises in visa applications of this type such as an immigration solicitor to ensure their applications are pushed through.

Let's also not forget that the RFL have an input in these applications. The RFL have been desperate for a RL presence in the NE since the dawn of Super League.

Replace the word employed with engaged and I think the idea makes perfect sense. In every walk of life you have experts who operate as consultants who are paid highly for their results. You can bet your bottom dollar there will be people who have previously worked in that area. who know all the procedures and loopholes and who know the right people to approach. The choice is easy. either opt for the ameteurish approach by trying to bimble through the process yourself, Or engage a consultant and pay a high price to ensure a better chance of success.

Of course Gateshead will have used someone who specialises in immigration visas. 4 x PNG players don't just suddenly arrive before Xmas ready to play without support from somewhere!

Im pretty confident there's someone the big clubs all use to submit their applications to ensure they are rubber stamped. It's all about ££££.

Visa applications are actually quite straight forward, provided they meet all the requirements and provide the required evidence, such as an English language qualification. Yes, you could use an immigration specialist, but you don't need to.
