How is the work progressing on the Kells End? anyone have any pictures? :) :) :)

Had a look last week, no sign of any work ongoing only the sheathing missing from the stand post windy weather 😱😱

What is the work entailing? asbestos removal would be good and new roof for starters

New roof would also mean new girders to be put in place. Hopefully we've the cash for everything needed.

How good would it be to get the popular side covered again, I suppose if seats are going in then ideally it will be covered.

I wonder if the club have sourced the seating from a demolition project like the don valley to keep the cost down.

It wasn't long ago since the Olympic committee were advertising some of the seating that was used in the Olympics was been given away to sporting groups free of charge, the only thing was you had to pick them up from different venues from throughout the country, I can also remember a local sporting group from Cumbria getting a 100 for their own facility, it was advertised as the Olympic legacy project.
