I remember a few years ago, when the RFL made a particular rule change, (can’t remember which of the many it was, probably stopping pushing and striking for the ball in scrums), everyone assumed big busting props would be obsolete, and the likes of Denis Betts would run riot, because they were fitter and faster.
TBH I still can’t see why that didn’t happen, get fast mobile props and run the legs off the over weight bar stewards I say.

Aiyre should be better than Can

JPB should be better in attack than Doran and can't possibly have a worse discipline effort.

Carr was great defensively, one of the best defensive fullbacks in the division but not going forward. Only time will tell if Lepori is as good.

Current ability I would say Taylor is better than Holliday or Macca at centre. But would love to be proved wrong

Burns better than Ainy? That was a debated topic last season. Definitely a possibility

We have yet to replace either Forster imo, Davies should be as good as Jackson. Tamghart should be better than Cotter. Hopefully Hand will improve on last season. I would still like two props signed, however if Fox can show his worth there in preseason I'd be happy with one more but it would have to be a big powerful one.

you've missed out Hepi,and bannister as well as the two coyles, who have effectively replaced Thorman, people seem to forget we ended up with 15 or 16 of our own players last season.

I think Doran was far too influential in the dressing room when Gailer was here. I wouldn't have him back now.
