BOBBY I'd rather watch Bradford,Leigh,London etc than say Hemel, South Wales, Coventry and Oxford. I'm pretty sure we'll do ok once season gets underway. Just keep on supporting marra like all us good Haven marras.

At the end of the day yesterdays game was an improvement on the Barrow game, just maybe to many supporters were expecting  to much from this team so early, with so many new faces in the team it isn't a easy job getting them all to gel together, it doesn't matter how many training sessions you have it all comes down to game time, that's what pulls a team together, maybe there should have been a game against a amateur team prior to the Barrow game so the coach could gradually introduce the young and new players into his game plan.

Why oh why are people on here banging on about signing local players. For whatever reason they don't want to sign. Deaks and the BOD doing there best to get players in. Remember even the best of local talent don't always make it (bewsher& Palmer) to name two recents. For gods sake we have played two games with a knew team got to give them time. Cullen lost his first 6 games, good job we didn't call for him to get the push!!!!

Well said baldy. Some new player's still to come in also so I'm sure we'll be ok. I see Joe Greenwood is 12 months ahead of where Keiran Cunningham thought he was at saint's so if we are fortunate to get him on DR that'll be a massive player for us. Time will tell.

How to judge a players performance...........20 seconds of highlights on Border TV. Just a bit harsh that isn't it

If you know your rugby you will be very worried about this year.  Saints will send a couple of youngsters up lets not get to excited. Lets hope we dont get any other PNG players because apart from jessie joe they haven't turned out to be great. If we offered locals the same as we offered travellers we would get them signed up.

He was shocking though, and is patently unfit.

If Seymour had a decent pack going forward he would be able to create. If you watched him in the nrl he was never a running half back he was a creator something if which he was good at even tipped to play state of origin at one point because he had good packs around him.

From a full 80 minutes view I wouldn't pay him in washers, funny how Dion still managed to play ok in just his 2nd game, stop making excuses for him, his contract is a big reason Haven can't afford better forwards

I think Seymour will come good.  He did some decent stuff last year.  As others have said he isnt the most mobile but he should be able to organise us at this level and is a good distributor.

He needs a few more games to get going and like any half a pack of forwards to pla behind.
