Away from the playing side of things we look amateurish in other areas. Took a mate yesterday to his first RL match, he thought it was hilarious that :

Scoreboard doesn't work
Clock doesn't work
Young kid allowed to wander on to pitch stopping play
At least twice there were 3 balls on the pitch

Young kid allowed to wander on to pitch stopping play

That was downright disgraceful. How serious could that have been. Its a good thing the Fax players noticed what was going on and got the game stopped. Our stewards have come on in leaps and bounds and now do act to stop such things happening and I dont really blame them for what went on as they cant be everywhere all the time, you dont expect a youngster to get away from whoever is supposed to be looking after them and run onto the pitch. If you take a child to a game you should look after them, not just let them wander around anywhere.

I think sice had one of his better games he knocked on twice but you can't blame him for the second knock on as Wright should of kept hold of the ball instead of trying to offlaod when no one was expecting it.

If it had been a youngster or adult running on the pitch, surely they would have been banned from the ground. The adult whose was ooking after the little pitch invader, surly needs a stern ticking off, no matter who it is. And to stop it happening again, surley a barrier should be put up there to stop it happening again.

To be honest theres kids running everywere at matches and if the parents are in a crowded place of the stand and there kids take off its going to be hard for them to keep up with them or find them, its just a 1 off so let it lie.

hows he meant to pass when theres a winger inbetween him and rob jackson and a centre in between him and derrie pass it risk of interception or try and beat the full back and maybe get tackled and settle the game down??

sice was back to his best yesterday. you complained when people knocked calvert he got confidence by scoring tries give sice a break his confidence will grow now he scored a try

sicey keep it up marra ignore the people knocking everyone (well most fans) know your a great player to have playing for us and not against us and a proven match winner

Newton if he had passed then there would of more than lickly been an interception he done well keeping hold of the ball and being tackled and allownig play to go on in our favour in my opinion you don't like sice, he had a good game was't at his best but had a good game.

No one is having a go at the child that "inavded" the pitch, the fact is that the situation could have been a lot worse. Just suppose that the lad had ran on when the action was right in front of him and he had been knocked over and injured ?

The fact is that whoever was meant to be looking after him was at fault (from where he came could have been with the players families who like to stand in the bottom corner ) I would hope that whoever it was will have been told to make sure it doesn't happen again. Also think it may be worth an announcement on the Tannoy (if you can hear it) about crowd safety and the need to ensure that young children are supervised.

Maybe its time that we had a specific childrens area's in the Kells End and the Popular Side, would hate for something bad to happen next time we have a big crowd.

There is always an announcement about making sure children are supervised, not sitting on walls etc.
