just reading the salfo rd fans board they see DR  as a good outside bet to take over at the willows in there words

"he has done a good job at haven considering what he has had to work with and this could be his chance to get to sl as he has no chance of getting in sl with them"

Why would he leave an NL1 side to join a side that is plummeting toward NL1 itself, and not long before the promotion door slams shut?

There is no doubt that DR is a SL head coach prospect - as other Haven coaches before him - but he will need to realise a top three finish this year at least to even be considered. If Haven make it to the GF (and no SL promotion at current odds); then it will do well to hang on to him for another season, unless the BoD give him compelling reasons to stay.

steve mccormack for salford maybe? did he not used to play for them? and hes doing very well with widnes and he did well with haven

Well marra if you want to make some money have a bet on Mac NOT going to Salford.  He was their coach before he came to Haven and they treat him like dirt.  Hell will freeze over before Steve Mac goes there again he hates them with a passion.

dr will not go either...one person mentions it and all of a sudden they want him as coach..what a load of bull one persons view on a site does not mean salford want his as coach

The Salford site says "Its DR chance to get to sl as he has no chance of getting in sl with them" they will be in NL1 next season the way they are playing.

i think he means the way salford are playing not the way we are.
