Am I right in thinking Grant is out of contract with the Vikings at the end of this season? He's been superb for us this year and would love to see him back at the rec permanently next season presuming we stay up.

Correct, he is being released, and talk our way is he's already signed for you next season.

Grant was always a 7 and then Betts tried turn him into a 9 by bulking him up and it ruined him. A very good Championship player.

Snap him up he's been a revelation for us a top top player in this league if he's signed already the club are building sensibly and with quality rather than just buying players for the sake of it it will be nice to have a settled team rather than having another like this years

Jpb 6 Dion 7 gore 9 newts off bench next season

Could it be worth looking at Matty Henson from Egremont, played with Brocky, they couLD add an extra dimension.

Newton seems to have gone backwards.

matty Henson is a good hooker as are troy Armstrong from kells and Charlie Tomlinson from the brow can play 9.

I've heard we are signing another one of the loanee forwards?

Would also like to see us pursuing Ryan Watson at Kells and any other decent young amateurs.

I think the immediate issue is putting a squad together for when the league splits .

We need the twins form Chapletow brothers, Gore, Beumont and the two French lads otherwise we are really going to struggle with numbers and quality come the next stage.

Even with those lot we are still vulnerable in the forwards.   It would be a shame if we went down due to lack of numbers in the second section.

Really cant see them leaving.  They have no where else to play and love it here.  Could only be down to money if they dont.
