......get down early and watch a replay of the Haven v Catalans game on the big screen in the JJ McKeown bar from 1-15pm.
Entertainment on the pitch at 2-30pm (weather permitting!!) with a great female vocalist KIM

The half time game this week sees a "local derby" between year 5 and 6 pupils from Monkwary and St Mary's schools. Monkwray will be in the white strip and St Mary's in the blue one.

After the game hear Dave Rotheram and one of the players give their view on the game. More music then follows from KIM and round the evening off with a rerun of the game against Halifax on the big screen.

Hope yo see you all there and get behind the team as we go for three points to move above Cas in the table.

Don't forget the Academy game tonight 7-0pm at Copeland Stadium.

Must say I have a bad feeling about this game.

(1) Halifax have some very decent players in Smith Trinder Gibson Ball  and Holroyds already done us this year.

(2) Fact half the team are going to be at weddings on Sat and lets mqke no bones about it having a couple of shandys today is not going to be ideal preparation.

(3) We will have two good players missing and two players who havent played for six months in the team (Fats one game)

(4) It will be a bit like after the lord mayors show following last week

Think this will end up being a real banna skin which we can not afford to lose.  We have stuffed up at Donny and must win this game if we are going to challenge for a top two spot.

No doubt they have been told not to drink but....

cometh the moment cometh the man
shandys will be supped in Cumbria
In Lancashire out of the way of the observing eye
no doubt larger and  whiskey will be consumed in plentful suply.

Its unfair to expect the boys not to indulge in the odd shandy tonight.

Wether  or  not  players  have  had  a pint  or  2  I  also  have  a  bad  feeling  about  this  one.  I've  even  gone  against  the  grain  and  took Fax  on  the  coupon  with  14  start.  If  they  show  the  same  grit  like  they  did  in  the  1st  half  at  Widnes  then  we  could  be  in  for  a  tough  game. 2nd  half  they  were  blown  away  but  Widnes  got  more  than  a   bit  of  help  from  the  ref  that  day.

And it is a bit unfair to presume that they will.  They may not be full time but they are as proffessional than any others. As it happens DR was at Spencers wedding so cant see anyone risking a rollocking.

Anybody know who the young girl was that took over the entertainment duty in the bar on Sunday after the original girl fell and hurt herself?

The replacement was pretty good.
God this is a long tunnel...........and its getting longer by the minute!

Lass called Nichole she is from Carlisle and probably the best singer we have had down at the club.  She will be back soon.
