As a professional he's got little choice but to do so. All this love of Town malarkey is being spouted by those 4 people that use their forum. He'll go to any team that pays his wages, if/when Town go down he'll soon forgot his so called undying love of Town and merrily skip along to another club thats going to offer him the best deal for him, not just financial, maybe career enhancing opportunities as well.

Hmmmm what could you be implying?

The lad is a professional RL players who's future playing career is (most likely) still up in the air. He may not have been a stand out player for us (lack of games and injuries probably a big factor in that) but I can't see how his commitment can be questioned. Reading stuff like this probably wouldn't help the confidence however  :-[

Hulmes thing is rubbish his professional pride will be enough but he is also part of a team including his peers like Allen , Gore  etc. he won't want to let them down and it will be very evident to his team mates long before any fans.

Frankly he scored a hatrick last week which makes questions about attitude a bit stupid.  He has never let Haven down.  He will more probably end up at a top end championship club next year.

Can he bring himself to put a team to the sword who he was minutes from joining during the week?

well he jumped up and down every time he scored last week he tried his best to win us the game last week which would have put town well adrift of us
