To be fair this thread has turned into a town thread as well. Both sets of fans have some who are pretty pathetic and live in a small world where only two teams exist. Gets boring every thread on both forums ends up talking about the other team.

Funny.... on here there seems to be more posts about Towns signings than Havens own signings!

The bottom line here is that we as a club, BOD, infrastructure, coaching set up and team, are far more structured, organised and better resourced than we were at ANY point last season.

We were so bad at all of these things leading up to the start of last season, and then there was only slow and steady progress at improvements as the season progressed.

So given that position, it was a credit to all involved that we managed to stay up, and may I say, no real surprise that we were a bit hit and miss, and that we lost all of those games to town as well.

The improvement in our position WRT all of the above things appears to have been massive, so great infact that I would suspect no other team in the Championship can claim to have made so much apparent progress. All be it from a very 'far back' starting position in our case.

If, (and I think it is), our progress is so good, we should be well capable of staying free of relegation worries all season, and in fact push for a comfortable playoff position.

Our progress must be a worry too, to all of those clubs who were able to take advantage of our struggles with organisation and team building etc last season, (Workington included, who seem not to have progressed much, if at all).

Haven have a strong squad and have signed some quality players, however if they don't gelll as a team it will be all for nought

considering you've only signed hulme and verlinden it's hard to see where your coming from you've signed 2 good players but have lost one of the better finishers outside of super league plenty of time yet for your marquee signings I suppose

What is this fascination with big tent signings?
