Couldn't have asked for a worse start, need to pick ourselves up and go again vs the Bulls next week.

We were saying we were looking for at least 2 new signings that was before we lost Brooke's,tood and Quinn.Yet on the radio coyles didn't mention anything about signings  instead saying we are going to lean on Widnes this season, wrong option I'm afraid ,never going to win today but sounded like we just played dumb rugby all day long
THE MULLET IS BACK

Why do we persist in going down the dual reg route we should have signed 25 players and done away with Widnes. It's a joke coz we are just a feeder club for them now and they are a poor super league team anyway

Let's face facts fax are a much better side than us we got 150k off the rfl I think they got 800k as for their pack being on top they've all got super league experience but so have ours davies Beaumont maybe it's just lack of experience for riley and the twins against seasoned pro's but their time will come

After watching the game we were comfortably beaten by a better team. They were quicker, stronger and faster than us. We did let ourselves down on a couple of occasions but that would not of changed the outcome of the game.

It's no change from last season there's 2 different leagues in one league and fax will be in the top 3 this season all we've gotta do is knock out 10 or more wins out of 30 and we'll be fine

No team can make the error we do in possession and hope to compete.  Switched off at half time but first half every set we had there was a knock on or wayward pass..

Lets all get real and be understanding.

We are only financed and equiped to operate in the 'second division' of the Championship, and so results like this are to be expected and understood.

It's not what we do against the top 5 or 6 clubs when we play them away, only how we perform against the likes of Workington and the rest of the divisions strugglers and of course the top 6 teams when we play them at home.

IMO it will pan out OK for us, as we have some good players signed and a very workable DR set up with Widnes.

I just wish those who harp on about us dropping out of a DR relationship would give it a rest......WE NEED DR, we can't afford to support a team of the quality we need without it. Unless you want us playing Oxford and the rest of the poor quality clubs in the division below where we operate now that is.
