The club wishes to announce that assistant coach Peter Williams is to leave the club. Peter has given dedicated service since his arrival and has won the respect and admiration from all at Whitehaven. The fans especially have appreciated his efforts. "The Board will be sad to see him go" said Football Director James Robinson. Peter is self employed in the construction and of late has won several contracts. He has tried to see if he could do both jobs but feels he now can't commit the time he feels the job entails. "We all wish him well in the future."         

The Board will meet soon with the head coach to discuss a replacement.

Big thanks to the bloke - seemed a catalyst in our turnaround in fortunes last season.

Lets hope we can find someone his equal to replace him

Big thanks to the guy. He did a great job. Now hopefully someone local to help out as the number 2.

Massive thanks to peter Williams for his work here only down to his work at home he could easily have made head coach big loss to haven this I hope we have a good replacement lined up a Keith senior type never of the pitch type which we need peter was dedicated to the job

When players only have good things to say about him,that tells you how good he was .I am Amazed he isn't a head at  championship club,thanks for everything
