Was fine at fullback last season,no one would like to see more locals in the team,unfortunately
Some are happy playing amateur with their mates
Some want telephone numbers to sign
And some think signing for haven is beneath them

Up to them and if they won't sign we have to look else where,some of those complaining we don't sign locals would be the same ones up  in arms if we had a open cheque book and raided the best local amateurs from their respective clubs.

No easy fix ,but if you can bring in a couple of amateurs each season you are doing well .
I was in the club last season when it was rumoured a top local player was signing for us, he was in the club on matchday and let's say more senior in age haven fan  asked him if it was true,The mouthfull he got and the his derogatory comments about not just the club but our players was awfull,its not always the club that's at fault ,the attitude of SOME is also an issue

I think we'll see the best of Louis on harder ground. He also had a knack of sending Sigi into space do I imagine he'll become a real asset as the weather warms up!

What I noticed was the intensity they brought to the side which disappeared when they left. Lets hope they bring it back again.

brett kinghams mullet, I think the biggest reason for local players not coming to the Rec is the reason they stay with their amateur clubs, they are playing every week, this is why I say we must try and reintroduce a second team, we can only build from the bottom up, if we are looking to compete in the future this is the only way,
at present we are just surviving season to season.

  They could extend the season by playing each other 4 times.

An awful lot have half backs slotting in at fullback these day's. I like joufret and hopefully when his mates arrive he kicks on and puts in the performances we know he's capable of.
