It all comes down to the cash, no loyalty when cash is involved,

The term loyalty gets thrown in "players" faces a lot when it suits people. I'd love to know what you determine loyalty.

When a club no longer wants a player is that loyalty by the club?
If a player isn't offered a contract or a reduced contract or told they are not going to get much game time but they should sign is that loyalty by the club?
When fans give their own player a bagging is that loyalty?

I'm not saying these have happened to Shacks, it's just an open question because loyalty lies both ways in my opinion but I've seen numerous times where fans claim a player isn't loyal yet slag off players who still play for their own club when they perform at a level deemed not good enough.

Remember that money doesn't determine performance. If it did why do all professional teams lose games???

Mark Shackley and Young Bainbridge were released by haven as not deemed good enough at the time, so both ended up at town.

that was for a season loan deal when town where struggling shacks then came back to us and done pretty well for a couple of seasons when he was used it was 2010 when town took 5 or 6 of our players in the time where in administration crack is they tried to sign loads of our players at that time

Redbaron2, Loyalty, it does go both ways between club and players you are correct,  but the clubs now are run as businesses or should do, I will get slaughtered for this but its my view that the traveling players would jump ship immediately if a club closer to home came in for them with either the same or higher offer, and to be truthful who wouldn't, the players have a short playing carrier as a pro or semi pro, yes they love the game or they wouldn't be playing, but its a paid job to them also.
