We defo need a prop.  If  there's  one  position  were  we  need  to  spend  its  in  the  front  row.  If  we  get  to  the  NRC final  than  we  stand  to  make  a  bit  of  cash  from  it  and  we  need  to  invest  it  wisely.

I  know  were  well  into  the  season  and  most  of  the  good  players  have  been  taken  up  but  what  about  giving  Stan  Martin  a  shout  and  see  whats  available  down  under.  We  could  do  with  something  what  Leigh  had (their N.10).  Someone  who  runs  onto  the  ball  AT  PACE and  takes  several  to  pull  him  down.

Maybe  a  pacey  N.6  would  also  be  high  up  on  the  shopping  list  as  welll :)

stumping up the cash isnt i dont think a problem, but as someone else has also said WHERE is this quality prop you demand we sign??

list some props you think we could realistically fetch in...........

personally i think we are short of a outstanding stand off, but again there is nobody available for a sensible price

remember we lost 2 GF's because the opposition had an outstanding s/o in their ranks

it isnt as esay as saying we need this we need that, i think des and the rest of the board know what we need but finding it aint so simple!
the reverand, big mac

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good

First of all we SHOULD have money for a Prop after Baynes was released.

Finding one is a different matter.

Getting one from SL or NL1 or NL2 could be difficult, we will only get someone on loan from SL or someone not required by another NL club.

Therefore out net must be cast wider.

For some reason DR doesn't seem to have any contacts in AUS/NZ.

Therefore the answer could be France now their season is over.

Pia Donkeys seem to have some excellent players at the moment, who may not be good enough for Super League, but could be standout performers in NL1

Centre - Josh Taputu - Samoan International - Scores bucket loads of tries
Stand Off - Maxime Greseque - French International - Pacy, unpredictable, doesn't miss conversions and can Kick out for Calvert to chase.
Prop - Dean Bosnich - Aussie, so don't know if he would be a quota player or not but would be great off bench with Jacko or Hill when Bull and Trindall come off
Prop - Sebastien Martins - French International - only 20 and getting better, didn't quite make grade at Catalans, think played a couple of games with Hull KR last year.
Finally old warhorse - Tom O'Reilly would provide cover at Loose Forward, Second Row, Scrum Half, Stand Off & Centre. Just put him on pitch and watch.

Hopefully DR & Board will be watching International on Friday week to see if there are any other French players who could come in and do a job for Haven.

its not as simple as knowing some one theres the simple matter of
are they a quota player...
could we get a work permit for them...
can we afford it....dont forget its a house and a car as well with  a overseas player
