Doncaster Lakers and Swinton Lions have both been deducted 6 points with immediate effect for breach of RFL insolvency rules.

Its reported in one of the Doncaster papers that the RFL accepted Donny's re-registration back into NL1 as it had been taken away when they entered the CVA - wonder if they would had been let back in if their stadium was a shed?
God this is a long tunnel...........and its getting longer by the minute!

Sounds like the new owners at least wanted to give it a go unlike mr Wright who seemed to want to hang around in whatever capacity.  Nice stadium yep cant argue but it doesnt do the game any good for any team to fold.  Lets hope they pick up AFTER friday.
