Clubs should be made to become self-sufficient and not rely on backers putting there hand in the pocket constantly

There will not be many clubs in that position, in Rugby or Football. Surely the Reds rely on backers/sponsors to survive.

HW

Sponsors are part of being self-sufficient. You are selling them advertising space. As for backers we have zero

Our backers walked away about 4 year ago and the club nearly went bust.

I don't think legally they could put Toronto right up. If Toulouse fail to beat Barrow then they could promote 3 though.

The way they'd get round it would be to put it to a vote and with the promise of extra $$$ and a all expenses paid trip to Canada I can imagine which way it would swing.

Heard from an ex Haven player still in the game if toulouse don't go up there will be no relegation  2 teams up and Toronto added as well, be the farces of all farces if true.

Heard from good source they'll enter administration Monday or Tuesday personally think it won't be until they're knocked out of the play offs but let's see what happens

There is no way the RFL will let Sheffield go under.

Why not, it happened to Leigh a few years back, and look where they are now.

Could be wrong but going into administration normally comes with the equivalent of 3 wins points deduction, thats 6 points which would still leave eagles on 18 points and still a head if us.It doesn't automatically mean relegation I don't think
