Lads done their final training session in St Helens tonight en route to London as guests of Haresfinch ARLFC.
Well done Fozzy and the club for trying something different. Should be no excuses on quality of preparation.

Looked ok, team in general looked very good,

Us Finch lads learned a lot by it...

Very good captains run out enjoyed by both sides

Thanks for that lad. Glad you learned something. Pity Haven don't involve local amateur sides in the same way.
Allez haven

Been supporting Haven since Gus Risman stood on my new mac. My ma gave me hell!

Pointless playing local sides in games like this as apparently we'd get well and truly hammered

To be fair l, think you would struggle

Whole purpose of this exercise was a captain run, with respect required from both sides not to put a shot on each other, with games the next day...

Anyone can run plays against no oppos but using a team against gives intensity needed great idea who ever the other team is.

Completely agree, but if it turns into a game of tackle the exercise becomes pointless a day before a game
