Think it's very harsh to write these locals off after one game when it is clear every1 was poor on Sunday. I hope this isn't going the same way with locals over the last few years.

Got to go with our strongest 17 from now on another tonking at barrow will do nothing for morale these lads need to be given minute's here and there and not thrown in from the start

thought friendlies were about game time and blooding in new lads etc ? keeping new signings out of friendlies and playing first choice 17 is a bad mistake and a sign of panic . Its meant to be a learning period .

There's still 11 locals in Brow Lads squad,I'd go with our strongest team against Barrow to try and lay down some sort of marker against what will be one of the strongest teams in the division, another tonking will do nobody any good.

Not always, they are a tool to get the team ready for the start of the season and when you have new halfbacks,a change at fullback and other new faces  in what will be our strongest 17,they need game time to gel,no panic,I'll save that for teams with only 17 players signed on.

Sends a great message out that. You had your chance lads now fans would rather win a trial game than see you develope

Rubbish, the team that will start the first league game needs to play together in pre season at some point, especially when you need to bed in new halves and a game against one of the strongest teams in the division is a perfect opportunity to do that,we do have some other preseason games you know so the players who miss out could still be given playing opportunities.

We got tonked at Barrow in a friendly the other year also. I'd play about 19 this week then same at Newcastle then only 17 v town. Give the player's a chance I say.

Throwing all the youngsters in together is brainless as Sunday showed.

Omg have you ever played mark. Do you know what it would do to these new players leaving them out aft one game.

Yes,you really don't know what your talking about, there is another friendly after the Barrow match to give players a run out or do you want us to start the regular season with half our strongest 17,including our halves never playing a game together.
