To put this in perspective West Hull are a very good team playing at home in what was poor weather conditions. Haven are lacking confidence so this win is a good one. Look at how Toronto struggled at Siddall and how Keighley are having a scrap at Fryston

Massive banana skin avoided. Don't care how close the game was, we needed and got a victory. Remember there is technically only one division between the clubs and West Hull have had 2 teams to draw quality players from who aren't quite good enough for SL.

One swallow doesn't make a summer an all that and far too early to claim we've turned a corner but we ground out a tough victory when ultimately needed.

Was a really scruffy win on a awful pitch thanks to the fans that came with us still loads to work on we had nothing on the touchline but came through a banana skin
born and bred haven.

Think a lot of people under estimate these top amateur teams in these games, just had to watch the Siddal game today to realise that.

Just a word of caution ..  barrow played THE best amateur side in the country on their own turf and
Put 30 past them in 32mins  . We have a lot of work to do...

At the moment he hasn't been able to play the team that he would like, got to give him time to see how he does with a full squad to pick from. Yesterday win was a good win at the moment.
