i might be a bit naive but can anybody tel me why Matty dale is cup tied and Graham Oldroyd isn't.

because the RFL wouldnt want to give us any advantage due to us being from cumbria!

they bloody hate us!

could it be because when Doncaster went into a CVA,all their players contracts became null and void so in effect it was as if he had never played for them,much the same as Joel Penny signing for Widnes off quota even though he isn't.

well how would not playing in this game affect holroyds pay? penny is off quota so he can pay his way in england for his house etc.

holroyd wasnt signed before the quarter final stages by halifax either

You have to be signed on before the quarter finals and as Holroyd was he can play.

so in a technical way we could get bannister back on loan as he was registerd before the quarter finals

Probably not as when his loan finished he would have been crossed off our cup register
