Karl up before the disciplinary committee next week. Charged with punching in the incident that led to him being sin binned.
2 match ban if upheld could mean missing the Town game.

If banned could have been an opportunity for a certain former squad member. Possibly could have finally broken his duck by playing in a winning team rather than the defeats he contributed towards.

Back to Karl.... This type of thing is a risk the club took. Can't see him changing now and any slight infringement is going to scutinisd by the RFL given his record.

If he was sin binned for the offence why is there further action being taken?

Because it was deemed to be more serious than a sin binning

You've got to remember the ref gets 1 view at full speed from 1 angle hence the video reviews

I know, just can't recall this happening.  I remember teams could site a player in years gone by.  but if the ref wasn't sure it goes on report and then delt with.  An on field decision should be the end of it imo.

They can still cite a player if they want

Did you see Ferres' "tackle" on Gildart on Friday night? He got sin binned for it but will be banned on Tuesday as it was an awful "crusher" tackle. The ref and TJ only had 1 view which wouldn't have been clear but huge TV pictures were very clear and damning

About 2 weeks ago when the young lad from Hull got binned against Saints for giving a facial with his elbow and then got a couple of match ban
