The club would like to announce that its Challenge Cup game against Halifax has been allocated as the B.B.C.'s game of choice for this coming round and will therefore be screened live on the Sunday. The club hope's to put a few offers together and we will let you know about them in the near future.

Sounds good only difference is in 2004 there was a big crowd over 4k as for now with it being shown on TV and people whingeing about prices most fans will stay at home to watch it. Sadly that's how it is now although I'll be there

Will the club receive additional revenue for this?

Put the prices down a bit hive free kids tickets out. The crowds are there we just have to tempt people and 16 quid will not do anything

I don't think they can reduce the price as it is a shared gate,
HALIFAX would have to agree to the price being reduced.

Surely something that will have an impact on the gate should result in the clubs being compensated for that loss.

Don't think Halifax would object to free tickets to all children when accompanied  with a paying adult, also kids playing pre match and at half time, again players parents accompanying the kids get discounted ticket, again if we can attract more paying individuals through the gate who don't usually attend Halifax wouldn't have a problem I don't think, if both clubs agree (as they have to)all they do then is inform the RFL for them to say yes or no, wouldn't think they would say no, they will want as many people in the grown as possible to enhance the games profile.
