We need a prop

Despite  todays  2nd  half  IMO  we  need  a  hard  running  prop.

For  me  someone  like  Watene  or  Rowe  would  do  the  trick.  Signing  anyone  like  that  is  never  going  to  happen  but  if  we  could  get  someone  from  down  under  or  a  SL  player on  loan  it  might  be  the  difference  between  top  2  or  4/5th

name some hard running sl props who are not getting a game

all i can think of is

bryn hargreaves (saints)
david tangata-toa (hull kr)
danny sculthorpe (wakey)

I can't understand people on this site calling for the club to go out and spend even more money on a prop, bringing yet another player in from where, Lancashire / Yorkshire?
Also why do we need to bring in another prop when we've got young local lads in the 21's playing out of their skins,the 4 lads at prop against Hunslet on Saturday were outstanding:
Farrar (I know he's on amateur forms)
Ford
Jones
Shaw
All 4 of them ran straight and hard, and tackled their hearts out, let's give them some game time.

Because we actually need a pro with experience, these lads are good, but not good enough for potential Super League .

sam burgess at bradford pure class young in experianced and plays his heart out david ford should be in the team at prop has the class we dont need expeirance we need brute strengh

Totallya  agree.  You  could  get  away  with  playing  1  or  2  young'uns  against  the  likes  of  Sheffield  or  Batley  but  against  Cas  or  Widnes  it  would be  very  unfair  on  them.  Plus  we  stand  to  make  a  few  quid  by  getting  to  the  final  so  funds  should  be  there  if  we  need  a  player  or  2.

Going by the League weekly DR has a few leads for 2 players so its a case of watch this space.
