You can sign amateurs on 3 game trial forms and they don't lose their precious BARLA status.
Yeah they will be queuing up to run out in front of "fans" like you.

They way you have put it comes across very sarcastically towards amateur players, even if you didn't want it to come out that way.

Problem is many good local players aren't interested playing semi pro rugby hence we have to look elsewhere. That said if more were picked instead of travellers it might entice locals to sign but I cant see it. They don't appear to want the extra training required, unable to drink at weekends because of a game or take holidays close season. Pity really as a few could run riot in this league and make a name for themselves. Look at Kyle Amor and what he achieved   ???

To be fair its all about choices up here with there being no super league team any half decent young player would probably want barla tours where as players of similar ability in lancs and yorks tend to sign academy with super league teams some make it others end up in the champ or league 1 its all about choices

He had his chance at Wakefield and blew it. Maybe its personnel problems such as depression he might suffer from. Just seems odd a player as talented as he is can throw it all away. If he needs help hopefully the club can give him it and get him back where he belongs on the pitch
