Apparently its changing again next year. The current SL clubs want franchising to come back!

Be the only chance (via a franchise) of any Cumbrian ''club' gaining access in to SL. Maybe proposal should not be knocked outright

Id imagine they'd make us start in the Championship or C1.
 And apply after 3 years.

How does it make easier for Toulouse and Toronto? Who will kick out of Superleague to let them in or will they just keep expanding the league till they end up with Super 1 and 2.

License was farcical last time, Crusaders didn't get their on merit but Widnes lost out. Expect Wakefield to be quaking in their boots if this goes ahead.
You mean the Wakefield who kept their franchise on the back of a promised new modern stadium.
The game is on its knees,,lack of major sponsors,Sky using the sport as a filler for its scheduling and hence minimal TV contract upgrade so maybe the inclusion of Toronto/Toulouse despite people's reservations could bring in extra revenue into the game.

Every time they artificially create a new club with no loyal supporter base at the expense of a 'hotbed club' they help kill off the game in that, previously fanatical RL area.

They'll be left with a load of non-entity clubs in outlying areas and realise their clubs in small, grim Northern towns have all long since moved on. They will then accept the merger with RU.

I believe you should be in SL through merit alone and that being how well a club performs on the ptich

After tonights results it is all but certain that Bradford will finish bottom in the Championship. With the 12 points detuction a blind man on a dark night could have seen that coming!!! So what will the RFL do now to maintain Bradford in the Championship when, by all justice, that place should have been ours

We are in this league, because we deserved to get relegated. If we had been saved, I still think we would have been relegated this season. Hopefully we can carry on improving and get back to the Champ on merit, not by the misfortunes of other clubs.

I honestly think the championship is weaker this year than last. If Bradford do go down and we dont go up id imagine we'll be battling for one promotion place agsin next year.

Take the point that we were the second worst team last season, I feel that we should have been allocated final place in championship because Bradford were treated differently from other clubs who had been through similar problems. All the RFL have done is extend Bradford's period of problems, had they been in League 1 they might well have been pushing for promotion and it is by no means certain that we could not have competed with Oldham, dewsbury, Swinton and Rochdale

And yet everyone complains that Toronto and last year Toulouse are going through C1 destroying reams every week.

already decided , they play their first three games away and then their last four at home . The dates of their home games have been on their website for 6weeks
