yes ,with hargreaves-gerrard-cole- missing mclaren should have eaten the humble pie and played beckham

Yeah. It was a mistake playing 3-5-2 if they don't have players to play it! No wing backs in the team. Thats what let England down cos the strikers were starved of the crosses.

think maclaren has been very harsh on becksy hes been one of the best players england has seen and to drop him like that is just wrong

Doesnt matter what they have and what they havent won..becks in the best crosser of the ball in the world..FACT..now why would someone not want the best crosser of the ball i their team? Beacuse he was trying to make a point for himself! Not for the team and the country..all he was trying to do was show who was in charge..well I think it has back fired on him!

beckham being the best crosser in the world is not FACT, it is in FACT most people's opinion I'm not saying he is or he isnt, just  don't confuse opinions with facts

2+2=4  is a FACT, because it is true,scientifically
person A being the best player etc is not fact just opinion

furthermore, mclaren was trying to set himself up as his own man, he done this by dropping beckham< rightly or wrongly> but then,  failed to drop wayne rooney, who on current form for club and country should not have been picked
