Moi moi to play full 80 at his age was absolutely outstanding. Young Lancaster was not near match fit and a few others were obviously carrying knocks. Fair play to the 14 for having a good go.

If I was one of their fans I would say that the team has massively under achieved this season. I expected them to win this league with the squad they had.

Really can't see them doing anything next year.

They seen content to sign travelling players yet again, surely they can see that model isn't sustainable.

Oliver Wilkes returns to Workington

Oliver Wilkes has returned to Workington to be an assistant coach at the club.

The 39-year-old retired at the end of last season after making 500 career appearances for Huddersfield, Keighley, Leigh, Whitehaven, Wigan, Widnes, Wakefield, Harlequins, Barrow and Workington.

A former Scotland international, Wilkes will become one of Chris Thorman’s right hand men at Town in 2020.

Wilkes said: “I had to retire through injury last season when I didn’t want to.

“I thought I had another year in me so its great to be back at Town and with a great bunch of lads.

“I’m really enjoying working with Chris, Neil Frazer, Paul Halcrow and the others.

“I’m here to primarily work with the forwards and bring experience from my playing career.

Can’t see Town getting into top 4 of league 1 this season with suggested signings looking very bleak for them.

Cant imagine town releasing Jamie Doran unless we release Jordan Burns and he goes the other way
