Barra won by 30 points to 8, not the massacre  I thought it would be but gives us a good benchmark as to how many we have to put past them.

[Was directed at Barra when we play them but equally goes for the jam game where we need to put a cricket  score on them .

Think the two of them will enjoy playing in that Sunday pub team league.

Noting that Sellafield have changed their policy of not funding local sports teams with the announcement of 10k to Workington Town ladies football team I wonder when other set ups will be eligible to apply?

Fairly certain it's the team that are rebounding themselves who play at Derwent Park.

Regardless it still breaks Sellafields decades old policy of not funding local sports teams.

Wonder if Town will see any of it with the team being aligned to the rugby side of things.

You would think the Socio economic head for Sellafield had some interest in Workington Town?

Haven had a good ally in the Sellafield  camp inTim Knowles but due to infighting  he was slated by certain board members so stepped back.  Don't know whether he has any influence  in Sellafield  donations  but I think Haven have **** on any help lthey could have expected from him sadly.

Reading about the fund, its not that clear which banner they fall under to qualify for the Grant.

Watch them spend a chunk of it on improving facilities at Derwent Park.
