Cas match on or off?

I keep hearing that the Cas match is off, few folk in town have said the pitch is under 2 ft of water. Can anyone confirm if the match is on or off please, or when we might get to know?

think the pitch is clear now

to be honest we need the game to be on..we dont want mid week fixtures and playing them on a heavy pitch will slow them right down and will do us a favour

The pitch was playable yesterday but it has rained most of the day although nowhere near as heavy as last weekend

the surface water has now been drained completely and groundstaff are continuing with their efforts in order to remove some of the water below the surface so that the pitch can absorb water over the next couple of days - although we are obviously keeping fingers crossed that there is no really heavy rainfall between now and Sunday.
But as it stands the pitch is currently being marked out and we are looking forward to a terrific clash with Whitehaven

the pitch is clear and unless there is a massive downpour overnight the game is on


the club will be letting know me first thing in the morning so I can post it on the official site either way
