Whitehaven will travel to the Halton Stadium to take on Super League opposition for their first pre-season clash as they take on Widnes Vikings on Friday 12th January 8pm KO.

Carl Forster's squad will get a stern test against the full time outfit who finished second in the middle eight qualifiers to confirm their Super League place for an eighth successive season.

The fixture completes Haven's pre-season schedule with home games v Swinton on Sunday 21st January and Workington Town in the Ike Southward Memorial Fixture on Sunday 4th February  (Both 3pm.) A trip to Craven Park to take on Barrow Raiders in between on Sunday 28th January with a 2pm kick off.

Those admission prices are for tickets bought before the 9th, it goes up to £15 on the day
