Knew we'd win this game. Town may have a bigger squad but not a better one. Only 3 of us predicted Haven win. Tut tut lads.

Well done to all Haven players, Toughed it out against a physical Town team and played to our strengths. Thought Levy, Burns and bilsborough need special mention for that extra bit of quiality in a good team performance.

Search and rescue out for James Newton  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Was that the Workington bubble of optimism I hear bursting ??.
That big lad from Salford is some player ,I also though young burnsey at fullback was excellent,Taylor who disappointed me in the 2017 season was also excellent.
Agree about Mr Newton  he was MIA.
3 yellows and 1 red card shows just how I'll disciplined they were ,and the big lad got yellow for retaliation when he was hammered by bailey and others .
Workington certainly have more to worry then Whitehaven do on this performance ,was that their full squad ,also how many did we have missing 4 or 5?
A good day to be a Whitehaven RLFC fan

Once we cut out the penalties in the second half we were in control of the game. I'm impressed with Ellis Gillam and what a hand off Nzoungou has!

got to agree,he had a hOSS OFf a gameand don't know why he was binned.Town gave it their all 1st half but had nought left for the 2nd half and we blitzed them- so muchforv all the 5hit on the jam forum about Town beingvastly fitter than Haven!!!
Hope Rooke is O.K. again didn't see anything wrong with the tackle, he wasn't expecting the tackle and Callum just lined him up and hit him properly. Knowing the RFL they,ll find something wrong with it and hand out an unjust penalty.
End of the day best team won so nought more to say - HAVEN, PRIDE OF CUMBRIA.

Chris Taylor, Jordan and Ellis Gillian all had big games, but for me Karl Olstrum was the standout player. 80 minutes and never stopped
