Listened on wireless, lack of numbers really taking its toll on us, still need to find right positions for players but am sure this will come together next few week with players coming back

A very lacklustre performance. Pretty solid defensively but lacked ideas in attack. Still far too slow and pedestrian. Fitness needs Improving. That said once Dion and Jesse get ,match fit I'm sure we'll see a different Haven. Good to see Olstrum back as well. As for Skolars there not a bad side and should pick up a few wins.

There something missing these last two games we have played at opposition pace when we stepped up a gear we opened them up but couldn’t stay at it a win is a win but we need to improve and fast

Did anyone hear who won the raffle for the haven shirt as nothing was announced or if it was we couldn’t hear anything on the announcement system

Much needed hit out against a weaker team in the division. Skolars aren’t a bad side but they arent a good side either.

Made plenty of breaks and again had enough possession in the opposing half to have won at a canter but some poor decision making made this a hard fought game. Credit to Skolars for never giving up but we should have and could have won that one easily.

Plenty to work on but discipline was much improved on last week which can only be a positive. Can see the potential in the team but we need everyone matchfit before we see it. Thought Abram had a good game at FB and Calum looked dangerous but our forwards seemed to be out on their feet, couple of occasions we had 4/5 men in gear line trying to get back even in 2nd tackle.

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

If you mixed the attributes of the two teams you would get one good team!

We made good yards and easily cleared our lines but weren't clinical enough near the try line. I don't think skolars got inside our 30 yeas line  more than 4 times but they scored 3 tries and forced a dropout the other time.

Easy to be negative but I thought abram looked quite handy at fullback, solid under the high ball and returned it well, Phillips looked sharp and should be lethal on a firm pitch. Dion made some poor choices but showed glimpses of his old self. Nice to see olstrum back and was certainly vocal.

Jesse, howarth, dion and Mossop will all be glad of the game time before we face tougher tests.

100% agree with you on that one looked lost till billsborough come on. And his goal kicking proved the difference. Old head on young shoulders.
