According  to  the  Sunday   Mail  the  the  RFL  are  about  to  name  and  shame  a  number  of  clubs  who  broke  the  salary  cap  for  last  season.

At  least  2  are  SL  clubs.  Penalties  include  a  fine  and  a  points  deduction  of  between  4  and  12  points.

It'll  be  interesting  to  see  which  clubs  are  involved. :o

By  the  sounds  of  it  quite a  few  sides  could  be  involved  including  teams  from  the  national  league.

we didnt breach last years salery cap, so were ok........... the teams I`ve heard are WIGAN(pie eating scum),  WIDNES and HULL KR..............if true about widnes and they get points deducted, it could blow it wide open for 2nd spot  (not sure if its true though, just what i`ve heard)

if its windows they will prob only get a fine
hkr will get a points deduction, which, as was the same with cattleprod in 2005 is of no use or value to the team who lost the grand final against a team of cheats!!

the reverand, big mac

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good

Bradford - maybe

Hull KR - possible

Widnes - possible

If  it is  Widnes  ( and  I  hope  it  is )  then  they  face  a  12  pt  deduction  +  fine.  Certainly  the  players  they  have  must  be  on  decent  contracts  and  attendances  have  been  falling  for  sometime.

as I`ve said, it will make rest of season very interesting if true, widnes would drop to 5th with a 12 point deduction. Just imagine the scramble for the end of season play off spots.
