Just been on Radio Cumbria that the Stuart Harvey consortium have pulled out of the takeover due to the club not being able to provide certain information to them  :o

Absolutely unreal! Don’t we just look like dicks to every fan from other clubs that have donated to cover the shortfall. All basically for the promise of going bust next season

if the 60k has been raised for this season surley tgere will be a club next season. just on a massively reduced budget

You can't say people didn't warn,good news is fans have raised the money to see the club through the season.
People just started asking questions instead of taking them at face value ,talk is cheap and they had a lot of talk ,but as far as I'm aware they have not put a single penny into the club.Lets hope none of the money fans raised to save the club ( which is still needed) has been handed over to the them .Remember the club issued the rallying cry before the consortium stepped up.
If things seem too good to be true ,it's usually cause they are

What have the current board done to scare them off? It wouldnt surprise me if Forster and co up sticks now too.

If this is true then the club need to issue a statement FAST and sod any confidentiality agreements as those of us who have paid into the 60 K pot need to know what's gone wrong and also what's planned for reimbursing us- I paid up on the assumption if we raised the money the consortium were in having signed a letter of intent. As this is now not the case we need to know the why's and wherefore's of what went wrong.
